''SEEK GOD FIRST''

Seek the kingdom of God!  Seek the rule and reign of Christ on the throne of your heart. This is the kingdom that Jesus is calling us to seek on today.

Seek to know Christ, seek to know His will for our lives and obey it, seek Him so that your light may shine in the earth and other will see Jesus through you and God will get the glory.

We as humans have a tendency to seek and put before God everything imaginable and all of them lasted but for a little while.

The call today is to "seek God first". We cannot rule our own lives. We do not have enough wisdom, knowledge, ability, sense enough, nor power to do it. We may think we can, but if we would be honest with ourselves, we even fail ourselves at times. God never fails!

Proverbs 14:12- There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Scripture is clear on today. Jesus meant what He said when He said to "forsake all and follow me." He said it to His disciples over 2k years ago and that same bell is ringing louder throughout the world today. 

Anything that is not adding to your spiritual growth, but hindering it and affecting your relationship with God and His purpose for your life, you need to let it go.

Seeking the kingdom of God means seeking the “King of Kings”, Jesus Christ who is also Lord of Lord.

There cannot be a kingdom without a king.  The first priority of our life ought to be to seek the King and  then seek to become part of His kingdom through a personal relationship with Him and obedience to his commands.

It is not enough to just seek God, but to see Him “first”. First things means first. How do you seek Him? By faith.

God’s Word is true, powerful and sharper than any two edge sword. He said it and He will do it! He went as far as even writing it down in His bible so that you can read it for yourself.

God promise to you and I on today is that if we seek Him with our whole heart, seek His rule and reign in our lives, He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

The question becomes, "do you have enough faith to believe that? Scripture declares that without faith it is impossible to please God.

If you do not have the faith to believe God, there is no way I can be convinced that you have the faith to put God first and trust Him to supply all your needs.

Life is uncertain, time is short, therefore, we need to attend to the matter of making God first “priority” in our lives an urgent matter in our lives.

Tomorrow is not promised. We have no guarantees of it, only a hope. What happens if we do not see it and we die without ever making the choice to put God “first” in our lives. A question is asked in scripture “who knoweth what a day may bring forth”?

Everyday and every opportunity that you make a delay in putting God “first” in your life, the more the opportunity there is for satan to cause you to harden your heart in the struggle of putting God “first”.

Once this moment is passed and you have transitioned from earth to eternity, the opportunity is no more. Your damnation is certain.

Until we put God “first” in our lives, we will never be satisfied. We can shop and buy all we want, we can take one vacation after another, we can seek one career after another, we can take one vacation after another, we can do this and we can do that, but we will still be empty and find our self still needing more and more “stuff”.

Jeremiah 17:7 - "But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

We will never know the full reward of obedience until we put God "first.” Where does God fit in your life? Is He first? If not, who is?

What is True Love?

Everybody like to speak of Love.But Love means different things to different people."True Love" in the romantic sense often turn out to be not so true after all.The best definition of Love anytime,anywhere,is still found in the Word of God(1Corinthians 13:1-8
The importance of Love(v 1-3)
1.What are the things that usually impress people usually consider important?
A.The ability to speak well(v.1)
B.much knowledge and wisdom(v.2)
C.Faith that can move mountains(v.2)
D.Dramatic gestures/sacrifices(v.3)
2.Why is Love more important than the above?
What does the supreme position given to Love show about the person of God?
(God is Love.His greatest commandment is that we should love oneother(John 15:12)Everything else pales in comparion.
B.What True Love is(v.4-8)
1.Illustrate by examples from daily life each of the different characteristic of Love listed in the passage.
"Reflection.
=reflection on your own life and experience.
=where are you strong?
=where are you weak?
=How can you show this kind of Love to others?
2.Do the people in our church show this kind of Love to one another?
How do we help each other have this kind of Love?
Conclusion.
Loving others totally the 1Corinthians 13 way is not just difficult.
It is humanly impossible!
But this is true love.
1. Love is a matter of Choice.it is easier not to love (especially obnoxious offenders but we can will or choose to Love.
2.as we choose to love,trust that God (who is Love)is our constant source not only of this kind if love but also of the capability and power of model it.
*Love in spite of Unconditional,sacrificial love in spite of the fact that we are sinner,God still love us.(needless to say,this is the kind of Love God want us to have)In spite of the fact that you have hurt me,I still Love you!God Bless you all!

1,Conviction of sin comes through the praching of God,(Act 2:14-37)

Overcoming Complacency

Sometimes in our Christian life we may feel we are not growing.Or if we do not feel anything at all,we actually may be stagnant or even sliding back.One possible reason may be Complacency.IF a Church has many people who are Complacent,then that Church is really in trouble.We will Study what cause Complacency and How to overcome it.(study Deuteronomy 8:11-20)
